Where does design end?

Where does a design solution start and where does it stop?

Does a designer’s goal and solution end the design process?

Designs are constantly renewed, redesigned, restored, altered for better or worse, so does the design process ever stop or is it a continuous cycle, passing from one designer to another?

I’m a student at Northumbria University in Newcastle studying Multimedia Design and am writing a dissertation on this subject and related questions.

I just thought I’d make a quick post to see if anyone on the forum has any use for our services. We are a print and design company based in Sheffield called 1ClickPrint who specialize in working with small and medium size businesses.

Hey I was wondering if any one could help me with masking. I know this is a new-bee question. I’m working with fireworks and I’m simply trying to have a background of a picture fill behind a word only showing the background within each letter of the word.

ex: A image of the word „vacation“ with a picture of the beach in the background but only showing the portions of the beach picture in which the word vacation is over.

I know I have to use the masking tool but I just cant quite get it any help would…
