Oh sorry Chris, I didn’t notice that your are american, because your name
sounds a little bit german…sorry again! 😉 But you’re living in Berlin right
now, so you have to learn to speak more german, right? 😉

What I said was, that your Ernie and Bert (as Adults) are looking fantastic! The illustration promotes my fantasy and I ask myself – what Jobs these two have these days? 😉 It looks also like a movie-scene…absolutely brilliant! And also your other work are great…you’re a true artist…congratulation!

I do! I’ve been here almost two months and I can barely order a Kaffee! Working on it though. It’s another adventure.
Thank you so much! Yes, Bert and Ernie went into the gallery business in NYC. lol!

Hi again Chris, thx for your nice feedback and sorry for my late response!
But I have also a apologize. I answered you this afternoon, but something went wrong with the entry here. I dont’t know why, but I was very angry about, because I’ve written a longer answer and all was gone…damn…;(I hope that it works right now.
Damn…it happened again.;-(But I think I know right now, what the reason is. Only? words are allowed per entry. :-/ And God thanks, I saved the text right now. 😉

Learning a foreign language always isn’t easy, especialy german! And definitely it is an adventure! 😉 You didn’t learn german in school, did you? I learned english in school, but it’s long time ago. But I must talk english every friday in the office of one of my customers, because he has a lot of foreign employes. So, that is a quit good exercise, but also not perfect. 😉

In the 90th I lived in Berlin, too and my best friend and my brother are living right now in the capitol. A major part of my mothers family are also from Berlin.

Sorry for my late reply. So much to take care of as an expat! I didn’t take German in school, unfortunately. I wish I had now. It must have been wild here in the 90s? Everywhere was I guess… San Francisco was much different then. I am very impressed with the organizations for the arts here. Much more expansive than in the US. It’s nice to see this. Well, if you are ever this way let me know!

Also sorry for my late reply Chris. 😉 But I had a lot of things to do this week and my car got broken…ok, not the whole car, but the battery. That was, of course, not nice.;-(Anyway… Question: did you receive my mail from here in the last days? I hope so! If not, please let me know, because I have written more than this. 😉 Wild in the 90’s? Hmm, that’s, for sure, relative. As so many other things. 😉 But germany is, of course, in many ways more free than the US since years (decades). 😀 By the way…what is an „expat“? Sorry, but I don’t know the meaning of the word. 😉 And your last sentence is also a little bit difficult for me to understand. I think, I know your meaning, but I’m not quite sure.
Please let me know. 😉

Aaah, I see…now I know what an expat is! 😉 The dictionary said it to me. 😉
By the way…a very good friend of mine and colleague studied design and art in San Francisco in 1995. It was his semester abroad. He had a good time there then. For him it was also an adventure then. 😉 But at the moment I can’t remember the name of the university, sorry.

Sorry about your car! Nice to be in Berlin with only a bicycle. Grew tired of looking for parking in San Francisco!
Did your friend go to the Academy of Art university? or perhaps California College of Arts and Crafts (now just California College of Art)?

I would like to go to my customers by bike, but mostly it is a little bit to far away. 😉 Or the other alternative thing – carsharing! But in my small city, where i life at the moment, there is unfortunately no carsharing.;-(But parking places I have here a lot, that is never a problem in the suburbs. 😉I think it was the second university you named where my friend has been. But as I said – it’s o long time ago. 😉 Again my question – did you receive my personal mail from here? I realy would like to know, because in the past it didn’t work very often.;-(This portal here is quit good for our business, but the backend-organisation is extremly bad since years, maybe since the beginning.;-/ But now I have your web-adress and so we can mail each other over our personal adresses. 😀 I’m looking forward to reading/listening from you again! Have still a nice week…

Have you had many jobs through this portal? I am very new here… but it seems potentially quite good for that.
