We know that the responsible handling of your data is very important to you. Below you will find detailed information on the type, scope and purpose of data storage at the service dasauge and its applications. Status: May 25, 2018.
Personal data is stored at dasauge only with a registration as a member and a submission of portfolios, job and comparable entries based on this. We do this with the permission you give or have given us when registering.
Special categories of personal data that require increased protection are not processed by dasauge.
Personal data refers to all information that can be assigned to a specific or identifiable natural person. A natural person is a person in his function as carrier of certain rights and obligations—companies and organizations are therefore not "natural persons", but their employees.
Such data may include general personal data (name, address, telecommunications contacts, etc.), but also unique identifiers such as tax identification numbers, bank account numbers or online data such as IP addresses.
“Special categories of personal data” (Article 9 GDPR) requiring increased protection would include, for example, information on racial and ethnic origin, political views, health or sexuality.
For a registration at dasauge we only need your email address in addition to a freely selectable user name and a password. It is required to verify identity and is also only used for occasional and occasional emails relating to membership.
Furthermore, at your request, the further non-public use of your email address for the delivery of contact forms, email agents or newsletters is possible. At your express request, email addresses can also be published, for example in the context of profile and entries (see below). Otherwise, the email address will never be passed on.
If you want to use dasauge for publications such as profiles, portfolios, job and similar entries or forum posts, you can provide us with the additional data required for this purpose. Depending on the application, these can then also include
as well as all other data that you enter or upload in input fields and in free text. For portfolios, jobs and similar entries you need a profile with name and address; forum posts can also be published pseudonymously under your user name.
Data that we should publish for you (and only those) will be made publicly available to dasauge users, including third party applications that use this data (such as search engines or RSS feed users) for limited use in accordance with the terms of use.
Publications are usually enriched with their publication and modification dates, which can also be viewed as a public activity stream.
In addition to the information entered by yourself for these purposes, we also record the time at which publications are processed and the IP addresses of the existing Internet connections. We need this data for the traceability of any misuse. Of course, they will be deleted as soon as you delete the related records or the membership has been terminated.
All personal data entered by you will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required. This is the case at the latest upon termination of membership.
Your personal data will be processed here on the basis of your informed consent in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (a) and for the performance of a contract or prior to entering into a contract in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (b) GDPR.
Furthermore, the collection and processing of metadata is based on the legitimate interest in operational safety in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.
Newsletters and email agents are sent on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 (a) GDPR (consent) and paragraph 7, paragraph 3 UWG (exception to unreasonable harassment in email advertising).
Responsible for data processing within the meaning of Article 24 GDPR is zeramedia berlin Gero Willi, the contact details can be found in the imprint. The operator may also use contract processors in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
All content you read or post at dasauge is transmitted encrypted ("HTTPS"). This also applies to the page addresses and further information about your requests.
HTTPS is a standard for encrypting data transmission when interacting with a website. It prevents third parties from tracking or reading your requests from dasauge and ensures—if your browser does not issue a security warning—that you are really connected to dasauge when a page address starts with https://dasauge.com/. For technical reasons, however, HTTPS cannot protect the IP addresses involved in data transmission—this would be as if the postman were not allowed to read the recipient address.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by an internet address beginning with “https://” and usually also by a lock symbol in or near the address field of your browser. However, certain browser manufacturers want to abolish the latter in the near future—instead, a warning is to be established for non-HTTPS pages.
The delivery of emails triggered by contact forms and network invitations is encrypted if the communication partner also supports the relevant standard (“TLS via SMTP”), which is usually the case today. However, dasauge has no influence on the security standards used in the further transmission of such emails—especially when they are retrieved.
dasauge processes information that is stored and retrieved on your device. With them, our application can remember certain data beyond the retrieval of single pages.
Information on the end device means short, textual snippets of information that are not collected or processed on our servers but on the side of your end device—that is the computer or mobile device that you use when using dasauge—for example through cookies or your local browser storage.
The term comes from the so-called ePrivacy Regulation, which is still under development at the time of the publication of this privacy policy in May 2018 and which we therefore anticipate as best we can.
Information on the end device is used by dasauge for authentication, to increase user comfort and for anonymous statistical evaluations as a basis for optimizations. In addition, third party providers who place ads with dasauge or handle ad placement may use information on your end device for their own purposes.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and often also activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. It is also possible to deactivate the local storage in some browsers, whereby we use the more common cookies as an alternative. When deactivating information on your device, the functionality of dasauge will be limited accordingly.
In order to provide the services you request, the following information, among other things, can be processed on your end device—only if used accordingly:
This information is deleted as soon as the respective initial statuses (for example, logged out, clipboard empty, initial status of a UI element, etc.) are reached.
Your data will be processed here on the basis of your consent pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1 (a) and for the performance of a contract or prior to entering into a contract in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (b) GDPR.
Contact forms and network invitations are used to contact dasauge, another member or third party by email. dasauge will create such an email with your data and attachments entered in the form, which—as with any other email—will be sent to the recipient including your email address and any name you may have provided.
The data entered in contact forms and invitations to members or third parties and transmitted attachments will not be stored or used further. The emails created from this will be deleted immediately after successful delivery or determination of the final non-deliverability. Delivery is automatic. We do not look at the emails, do not evaluate their content or link them to other data.
In the case of network invitations to entered email recipients, we store their email addresses anonymously in the form of so-called checksums. This means that we can no longer read and use the email addresses ourselves, but can match them against those of new members so that we can assign them to your invitation and add them to your network if applicable. These email checksums will be deleted after 90 days at the latest.
The information on the handling of contact forms and invitations is collected and processed on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 (b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
We include the following services on our website. We do not pass on any user data, but the providers necessarily receive basic technical information such as the IP address.
dasauge integrates maps of the service OpenStreeMap. This visualizes locations for different types of publications (e.g. calendar entries or studios). OpenSteetMap publishes its privacy policy at wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
dasauge integrates in certain constellations the service Recaptcha of the service provider Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The service allows us to withhold certain pages and information from automated requests. The integration of Recaptcha takes place only where necessary and, as far as possible, only after user interaction. Google publishes its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
In addition, this website uses functions of Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses cookies (see above) which allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As dasauge requires, however, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of dasauge, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use. The IP address necessarily transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
dasauge has concluded an order processing contract with Google. The data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission.
You can prevent the integration of Google Analytics and the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This way, information is noted on your device which prevents the further collection of your data at dasauge: Disable Google Analytics
The processing of your data takes place here out of our legitimate interest in the providing of services requested by the user in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.
Furthermore, the use of Recaptcha is based on the legitimate interest in operational safety in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.
The collection and processing of your data by Analytics is carried out out of our legitimate interest in conducting market research and range measurement, on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.
For technical analysis and monitoring, we log all requests to pages and other resources. In doing so, we store basic technical information that your browser automatically transmits to us, namely:
The IP address is temporarily required e.g. for defense and analysis of attacks, vandalism or SPAM. It will be deleted or anonymised after 14 days at the latest. Afterwards, like the other data, it cannot be assigned to specific persons. The protocol data is not merged with other data sources.
In addition, the delivery attempts made by the participating email servers in the area at the disposal of dasauge are logged in relation to the email addresses involved. This also applies to emails that we create and send on the basis of contact forms.
The collection and processing of IP addresses is carried out here out of our legitimate interest in operational safety on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1 (f) GDPR.
You have the right to free-of-charge access to information about your stored personal data, including its origin and recipients as well as the purpose of data processing. This also includes the opportunity to request your personal data stored by dasauge in a machine-readable format in order to possibly transfer it to another provider. You also have the right to rectify, erase or restrict the processing of this data.
You can withdraw your consent for us to store and process your data at any time. You do this by cancelling your membership.
You will find all of the above options for controlling your data in the member area. You can also contact us at any time via the contact options listed in the imprint if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.
With regard to your personal data, you also have a right of objection and appeal to a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, An der Urania 4—10, 10787 Berlin, Germany, Internet address: www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
Your rights are defined in Articles 12 to 23 of the GDPR. In particular, these are Articles 15 (access), 16 (rectification), 17 (erasure), 18 (restriction of processing) and 20 (data portability). The right of withdrawal is listed as a condition of consent in Article 7, paragraph 3.
In the event of a transfer of dasauge to another operator (including change of legal form), the personal and other data required for the further operation of dasauge may be transferred to the new operator subject to the condition of sole use within the scope of these data protection provisions.
Beyond these provisions, no personal or other data will be passed on to third parties, especially not to operators of address databases or for advertising purposes.
