Originally from Bombay, India, I currently work as a freelance design consultant in the city of Groningen, The Netherlands
I have graduated with a Master in Interactive Media and Environments from the Frank Mohr Instuut Groningen in July 2010. Previous to this I also hold a Master in Visual Communication and a Bachelor in Applied Art and from India.
In India I’ve worked at various design studios and advertising agencies – working on a range of projects from branding, print, animation and interactive assignments.
As a break from my commercial work I came to study in the Netherlands to get a hands-on experience with New Media Art and worked with a variety of professionals on my projects from electronics & software programmers, new media artists, musicians etc. Learning to do something different from my usual line of work (illustration and graphic design) I worked on developing interactive tools as an extension to Art. Some of which you will see in my portfolio.
Since July 2010 after graduating in The Netherlands I have been working on two projects.
1. As a design consultant for UHN (Uitgeverij Het Noorden, Leeuwarden) overlooking the re-design of “058 Business” a business magazine authorised by the Government of Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and also re-launching the UHN brand.
2. On Project “Berne Boel” as an art director. Berne Boel is an interactive program to teach children in the Provence of Friesland how to speak the Frisian language. Realising the overall design and interaction for the games and animation was my responsibility. Samples of those can be seen at
