My name is Robert D’Antoni and I am a Compositor, Motion Graphics Animator and VFX Artist originally from New York now living in Hamburg Germany.
I have worked independently on small projects and alongside other animators in larger ones. I have overseen interns and freelancers and helped in the concepting phase with creatives to realize their video production and animation needs. While my main area of expertise lies in animation and compositing in After Effects, I am also comfortable on-set and have provided post-production knowledge and issues to DPs and cameramen, supervised basic VFX shots, given direction to performers on-set, shot and setup greenscreen shoots, worked with DSLRs for pick-ups, captured light probes for HDR maps for 3D texturing and have even set up lights for photo or video shoots. I also have a strong passion for photography, as I believe it gives my animation and compositing a stronger eye, and shoot with a DSLR, Medium-Format and Large-Format film cameras.
