Lena Strohmaier was born in Waiblingen in 1991. She studied at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart and received her Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art and Media with a specialization in Film and Video in August 2017. During an internship in 2016, she worked for six months at „Bunbury Films“ in Montréal, Canada, as an editor and production assistant. She has been studying fictional directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg since 2018 and will achive her diploma in 2025. She works also as an editor, assistant director and videographer.
