My name is Helga Schmidt.
I like to take pictures that show the world from a different perspective.
Most of my focus is on animals, nature and microphotography. I do not have many experiences with portrait photography, but I would like to get more.
Sometimes I participate in photography contests. My current one is Licher Fotopreis „Mensch und Natur”. In addition, I submit a photo monthly to National Geographic.
In addition to my hobby, I am training for design assistant. This training taught a variety of knowledge about design using applications like creative suite CS5 or CorelDraw. Therefore, I have experience with InDesign and Photoshop and I have taught myself Illustrator also. I started photographing more intensively this year with the Nikon 5100, which I learned by myself how to setup to get the pictures that I want.
I also gained experience in product photography doing a 6-week internship at Qubeat GmbH.
