(DE) In Berlin geboren, (ENG) witnessing the Berlin Wall coming down with all the media frenzy, I had the urge to join the“circus”. From studio based broadcasting, to post-production and satellite news gathering desk at Deutsche Welle TV’s Main Control Room, I developed a passion for news and more so for storytelling. Mandela drew me to South Africa and my desire to meet and work with the man and its family has led to many occasions in which I had to become a team leader. My work allowed to cover, film or produced stories, or documentaries from more than 20 African countries, the Middle East and Asia.
