This was first part my diploma project — design of the book „Kys“ (rus. „Кысь“) by T.Tolstaja. Novell playing on post-apocalyptic Earth is all about books, their importance and power. That‘s why paper clippings have been chosen as material for illustrations. Every chapter of the book is named after a letter of old Russian Alphabet, that brought the idea of using phonebook-like index. / 2008
