The friendly guys from Chaos Group asked us, if we would like to give V-Ray 3.0 a try. Of course we agreed and (being longtime mental ray users) tested it thoroughly. We took an animation (mental ray version) we rendered using Mental Ray and switched it to Vray using the SSS material. Here’s what we came up with.
