I am an independent journalist from India and currently, in Vevey, Switzerland. I have been in Germany since June this year on a Robert Bosch Stiftung and University of Tübingen fellowship, the Media Ambassadors India-Germany 2019. As a part of the fellowship, I have worked (short-term) with Süddeutsche Zeitung’s Feuilleton department.
I have extensive knowledge in the space of photo editor, since I have worked in Mumbai, India for four years. My work comprised elaborately working with images- from sourcing stock photographs to commissioning photo shoots to procuring images from photographers. In this course of time, I curated photo essays while working with some of the top photographers across the country.
Since 2014 I have been an independent journalist and primarily report on culture and travel. As a content marketing expert, I have worked with Indian travel companies to develop and strategise their content marketing plan. This also includes managing social media (across platforms) and engaging with potential audience.
My curriculum vitae will give you a broader sense of my professional life.
I was in Germany on a National D-Visa and will be happy to apply for the eligible work permit in the country, if I am considered for this role. I also have a valid Schengen Business Visa, until May 2020, which can give me the required time period to get all the formalities done.
Please contact Frau Sonja Zekri, head of Feuilleton, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Prof. Sr. Susanne Marschall for further references on my professional and academic life.
