Hello everyone!
My name is Maria Leonardo. I am a portuguese young photographer currently living in Berlin. I have a degree in Fine arts and a photography course, both in Lisbon. After my studies, I worked as a photographer for a Design Festival- Experimenta Design and made mainly freelancer work for creative people—website portraits, bands and so on. I also took part in exhibitions located in Portugal and Brasil.
I came to Berlin last year and I am still networking but I have a lot of positive energy and love from my profession to offer.
Here is a list of tasks/jobs I am looking forward and know that I have better skills/experience:
- work assistance for another photographer—studio or outdoor
- portraits with or without concepts
- portraits of animals
- backstage of any kind: movies, festivals, exhibitions, concerts…
- architecture—definitely my favorite kind but unfortunately have less experience
- advertising

Btw, I invite you all to my new exhibition on 24th August. It will take place in Berlin- Pestana Berlin Tiergarten—Stülerstraße 6, 10787 Berlin- and explores the subject : Urbanization of Berlin, in particular the planification of the Subway/train since the fall of the wall.
At the moment, I must confess, I’m seeking a lot of people because I will make a trip in Jordan and want to be able to afford all the costs. :) Of course this trip follows my wish to photograph a different culture and perhaps develop a new project- if you like this field, you understand my motivations.
