Body corporate building insurance covers buildings, common property and certain body corporate assets within Queensland community titles schemes. Insurance obligations differ between building format, volumetric and standard format plans. Building insurance is separate from contents insurance and does not automatically cover personal belongings, certain fixtures, alterations or other items within an individual lot.
