Ford missed on its full-year guidance for 2022 after the company failed to secure enough semiconductors to meet its vehicle production plans. The Michigan carmaker on Thursday reported 2022 earnings before interest and taxes of $10.4bn, when it had told investors in October to expect between $11.5bn and $12.5bn.
